ANXIETY & STRESS THERAPIST

Stress and anxiety help Essex

Working as a counsellor for over ten years, I’ve noticed how an increasing number of clients were suffering with the symptoms of Anxiety, Stress and Overwhelm.

Most of my working day was addressing these issues and so I decided to focus my knowledge, learning and practice on those specific areas.

Stress and Anxiety are words we hear around us all the time at the moment, and whilst the terms are generic your experience as an individual is not.

The way in which I work is entirely professional, personal and focused on you as an individual and we go at your own pace.

My aim as your therapist is to:

AREAS OF PRACTICE

ANXIETY & STRESS

Anyone can suffer from anxiety and/or panic attacks, it is a rapidly increasing Mental Health issue.

Anxiety is actually an entirely natural and healthy response to feeling threatened or in danger, a mechanism designed to keep us safe.

We can use a healthy level of anxiety to help us decide on the correct action to take in response to the perceived threat we are facing.

However, problems can arise when our anxiety response becomes ‘unhealthy’, in some cases it can begin to negatively impact our lives and this is when we may require additional support.
